new funding secured!

Gordon Park ELC is pleased to announce that it has secured funding from the Robertson Trust to allow us to start a new Family Learning Group.

Family learning is an approach to engaging families in learning outcomes that have an impact on the whole family. It encourages family members to learn together as and within a family, with a focus on intergenerational learning.

Activities can also be specifically designed to enable parents to learn how to support their children’s learning.

Silvia Kucerova, Chairperson of Gordon Park ELC said, “We are extremely grateful to the Robertson Trust for making our new Family Learning Group possible. The funding secured will enable us to run the group for the next three years. Our thanks also to 3SD who supported us with our application.”
