want to work with us?
Fantastic! You will find more information about working for us and our core terms and conditions of employment on this page, as well as details of any current vacancies.
There are a couple of important things that we need to make you aware of:
Given the nature of our work and the vulnerability of some of the children that we support, all of our employees and volunteers must join the Protecting Vulnerable People (“PVG”) scheme operated by Disclosure Scotland. You will be subject to an enhanced disclosure which means that you must disclose as part of the recruitment process if you have ever been charged, cautioned or convicted of a criminal offence. We always look at the whole picture when making employment decisions but we tell you this up front, because we regard a failure to disclose such information as a serious breach of trust
You must provide us with two references, one of which must be your current or most recent employer. Unless you have minimal employment history, we expect both of these to be work related references
You must have the right to live and work in the UK without sponsorship. We do not hold a Home Office Immigration Licence so are not in a position to sponsor anyone who doesn’t have the right to work
We are a small charity, and therefore we do not accept speculative application due to the administrative burden of having to respond to such applications. If a position is vacant, you will find the details here and on our social media channels
We do not need assistance with recruiting for roles on our website. No agencies please!
